These rental terms apply to every porta potty, handwashing station and restroom trailer rented from Roman Portable Toilets Rental in Detroit and nearby counties. Quotes and prices

Every quote lists the unit, rental period, delivery and pickup, any extras and Michigan sales tax. The confirmed quote price is the price you pay for that period. We do not add fuel surcharges or card fees.

Payment

Event rentals are paid in full when booked. Monthly rentals pay the first 28-day cycle when booked and renew automatically every 28 days until pickup. We accept Visa, Mastercard, American Express and Discover by phone or secure pay link. Drivers do not accept payment.

Rental period and renewal

Event rentals cover delivery up to one business day before the event through pickup the next business day after. Monthly rentals run in 28-day cycles; the first cycle is the minimum. After the first cycle, unused full weeks in the final cycle are credited when you call for pickup.

Cancellation and changes

Cancel 24 hours or more before scheduled delivery for a full refund. Cancellations inside 24 hours carry a $50 fee. If the truck arrives and cannot deliver because of a locked gate or blocked access, a $75 trip fee applies. Date changes made 24 hours or more ahead are free.

Delivery and access

You provide a level spot within 25 feet of where the truck can park, a clear path at least 10 feet wide and 13 feet high, and gates at least 48 inches wide for backyard placement. Delivery times are windows, not appointments. You are responsible for any permits needed for placement in a public right-of-way.

Servicing

Monthly rentals include one service every 7 days. Extra services are $45 per unit. If a scheduled service cannot be completed because of blocked access, the visit counts as completed.

Pickup and stopping billing

Event units are picked up the next business day after the event. Monthly units are picked up when you call or text; billing stops on the pickup date as described above. Keep the path clear on pickup day.

Damage, tip-overs and loss

You are responsible for damage beyond normal wear while the unit is at your site, including vandalism, fire, graffiti and vehicle damage. Tip-overs caused by people or vehicles are billed at $150 for cleanup. Lost or destroyed units are billed at replacement cost. Wind-staking is free on request.

Use of units

Units are for human waste and toilet paper only. Do not move units yourself, put trash, chemicals or paint in tanks, or drain anything into storm drains. Prohibited materials found at service may be billed at cost.

Property

We park on streets and driveways and roll units in by hand. Tell us about septic tanks, sprinklers, buried lines or soft ground before delivery; we are not responsible for damage to items we were not told about.
